Flu shots will be given each fall based on the availability of vaccine. High risk children and adults will be given priority. The CDC has approved routine flu vaccination for children, ages 6 months – 18 years and all adults, especially those with chronic illnesses such as asthma, prematurity, heart disease or diabetes. Flu vaccine is usually received in the office during September through October. Please call our office in late August and early September to inquire about flu shot clinic plans and dates planned for the current year. We will also be posting this information on our website. The key benefits of getting the vaccine are the prevention of the flu.
