FLU SHOTSFlu shots will be given each fall based on the availability of vaccine. High risk children and adults will be given priority. The CDC has approved routine flu vaccination for children, ages 6 month – 18 years and all adults, especially those with chronic illnesses such as asthma, prematurity, heart disease or diabetes. Flu vaccine is usually received in the office during September through October. Please call our office in late August and early September to inquire about flu shot clinic plans and dates planned for the current year. We will also be posting this information on our website. The key benefits of getting the vaccine are the prevention of the flu. WELL CHILD CHECKS and ADULT PHYSICALSRegular Well Child Checks are scheduled based on the Academy of Pediatrics recommendations at birth, two weeks, two-months, four-months, six-months, nine-months, twelve-months, fifteen-months, eighteen-months, and twenty-four months, and then once each year. Vaccinations are given with each Well Child Check per the current recommendations of the Academy of Pediatrics. Adult Physicals are recommended once a year. You can schedule these with either Dr. Amy Lannigan or Dr. Adam Palazzari. Well Woman exams can also be done with the physical.
