Telephone calls will be taken by our receptionists. If needed, they will be triaged initially by our triage nurse and forwarded to our doctors,
when necessary, and/or by patient request. Please call your pharmacy for refills and appointments during our regular office hours. Please allow 1-2 working days for refills, unless it is an emergency.
Telephone calls will be answered initially by our answering service and then forwarded to The Children’s Hospital Colorado after hour’s pediatric nursing staff for pediatric triage or to our internal medicine doctors for adult advice. Our physician on-call, will then be paged with any calls needing or requesting a doctor’s immediate attention.
After hours call is shared between our doctors at Broomfield Pediatrics & Internal Medicine. If your after hours call has not been returned by the nurses at Children’s Hospital Colorado or the doctor on-call within 60 minutes, please call our answering service back to check on the status of your call.
