Mary Lou Taylor CPNP joined Broomfield Pediatrics in Jan 2023. Mary Lou graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where she successfully completed a master’s degree and the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. Mary Lou’s entire career has been devoted to the health and care of children in a variety of settings. Mary Lou’s experience includes Neonatal Intensive Care unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric emergency care. Mary Lou was also the Nurse Manger of a Pediatric Unit for 10 years at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Mary Lou has currently been a pediatric nurse practitioner for 29 years, to include private practice and before joining Broomfield Peds, 18 years with Kaiser Permanente at their largest primary care pediatric unit in Westminster where she had the opportunity for care for the same families from birth through adolescence.
Mary Lou really enjoys spending time with, listening to, and getting to know families and children. Planning health care goals and treatment management together with the family is a priority for her. Mary Lou is married to husband, David, and has 2 adult children, Christopher, and Alexandra. Mary Lou enjoys taking dance classes, reading, and spending time outdoors.
